Teaching
As an actor trainer, I have worked across multiple drama school and conservatoire settings, in both faculty positions and as a visiting practitioner. Schools I have worked with include Rose Bruford, Mountview, Drama Studio London, The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and the National Youth Theatre. I have worked with students from Level 3 to MFA level.
Subjects I teach include:
- devised performance
- clowning and physical comedy
- contextual studies
- critical thinking skills
- political theatre
- approaches to text
- diversity and performance
I also have experience in supervising student dissertations and projects up to MFA level, and supervising both practical and written projects.
I have experience in module co-ordination, student support, and marking and assessment.
I have an MA in Actor Training and Coaching from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
